Job Description

About the Role

Brigade Group is one of India's leading real estate developers, with a diversified portfolio spanning residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality assets. The Manager - Founder's Office supports the Founder and the promoter family across personal finance, investments, taxation, and strategic initiatives that run alongside the listed business.

We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Chartered Accountant to anchor the finance and investments function of the Founder's Office. The role sits at the intersection of accounting, portfolio oversight, taxation, and strategic decision support — with direct exposure to the Founder and a meaningful seat at the table on long-term wealth and capital planning.

This is a high-trust, high-visibility position for someone who takes ownership, enjoys both the detail and the big picture, and wants to grow alongside a diversified platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain books of accounts across the promoter family's entities — LLPs, private limited companies, trusts, and personal balance sheets
  • Drive monthly and quarterly closing, reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting
  • Manage cash flows, banking relationships, and payment approvals across entities
  • Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and review packs for the Founder
  • Lead coordination with external auditors across statutory, tax, and internal audits.

2. Investment Oversight & Portfolio Management

  • Maintain a single source of truth across all asset classes — listed equities (including promoter holdings), mutual funds, fixed income, AIFs, PMS, private equity, real estate, and other alternatives
  • Track portfolio performance, IRRs, and asset allocation; build clear dashboards for the Founder's office
  • Support due diligence, structuring, and evaluation of new investment opportunities, including real estate and venture investments
  • Manage relationships with wealth managers, bankers, fund houses, brokers, and investment partners
  • Monitor corporate actions, capital calls, distributions, redemptions, maturities, and rollovers

3. Taxation & Compliance

  • Work with external advisors on personal and entity-level tax planning, including capital gains, dividend, and trust-level taxation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filings — Income Tax, GST, TDS, ROC, and other statutory compliances.
  • Maintain documentation for regulatory, FEMA, and SEBI promoter / insider trading disclosure requirements

4. Operations, Documentation & Controls

  • Maintain a well-organized repository of agreements, investment documents, loan papers, and KYC files
  • Coordinate across legal counsel, wealth advisors, and consultants.
  • Strengthen processes, internal controls, and reporting mechanisms over time.
  • Support estate planning and succession-related documentation as required.

5. Strategic Support

  • Build financial models, investment evaluations, and scenario analyses to support Founder-level decisions
  • Provide perspective on market trends, asset allocation, and risk.
  • Support special projects and new ventures initiated out of the Founder's Office.
  • Participate in periodic reviews with the Founder, family, and external advisors.

What We're Looking for :

  • Chartered Accountant with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience — ideally across a mix of audit, family / founder's office, wealth management, or in-house finance roles.
  • Strong grounding in accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of investment products across asset classes; familiarity with private market structures (AIFs, PMS, PE) and real estate transactions is a strong plus
  • Exposure to direct and indirect taxation, FEMA, and statutory compliance for individuals and corporate entities; familiarity with SEBI promoter and insider trading disclosures preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling; comfort with portfolio tracking tools preferred.
  • High integrity, sharp attention to detail, and the discretion required to handle sensitive financial information.
  • Self-starter who can operate independently across multiple workstreams.
  • Clear communicator who can engage credibly with senior stakeholders and external partners.

What We offer:

  • A close working relationship with the Founder and the promoter family.
  • Exposure to a diversified investment platform spanning public markets, alternatives, real estate, and private ventures.
  • A long-horizon, ownership-driven role with meaningful learning and growth
  • A discreet, professional, and collaborative work environment within one of India's leading real estate groups.
