About the Role
This role is part of the Chairman & Managing Director's (CMD) Committee. The incumbent will work closely with the CMD Office Lead to drive strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and support execution of key projects on behalf of the CMD. The position requires strong analytical ability, business understanding, and excellent coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Support
- Assist in developing and monitoring strategic plans for business growth
- Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to support decision-making
- Prepare business presentations, reports, and dashboards for CMD review
2. Project Management & Execution
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives driven directly by the CMD office
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics
- Identify execution gaps and follow up with stakeholders for closure
3. Process Improvement
- Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency
- Work with departments to implement SOPs and ensure adherence
- Support performance reviews and governance mechanisms for key functions
4. Communication & Coordination
- Act as a bridge between CMD Office and Business Heads/Regional Teams
- Draft internal communications, notes, and summaries for CMD
- Ensure smooth flow of information and timely updates to leadership
5. Business Insight
- Evaluate business performance across stores, zones, and categories
- Provide insights on sales, customer trends, and operational efficiency
- Support CMD Office in preparing monthly and quarterly review decks
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute (preferred 26 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or retail operation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work under pressure
