Manager – Founder's Office (Strategy, Growth & Transformation)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy, Growth & Business Transformation
- Work directly with the Founders to define, structure, and execute strategic priorities across businesses, brands, functions, and geographies.
- Translate ambiguous opportunities into actionable plans with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across sales, operations, supply chain, technology, finance, and customer experience.
- Support long-term strategic planning, annual operating plans, growth roadmaps, and business reviews.
2. New Brand Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard international and domestic brands that complement Workstore's portfolio.
- Conduct market mapping and category assessments to identify whitespace opportunities across lighting, facility automation, industrial equipment, hygiene, safety, and emerging sectors.
- Build relationships with global manufacturers, technology providers, and strategic partners.
- Lead discussions with prospective principals and partners, including commercial evaluation, market-entry planning, and business case development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts for successful brand onboarding and market launch.
3. Product Research & Market Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Evaluate new product categories and business opportunities through data-driven analysis and commercial feasibility studies.
- Develop strategic recommendations on product portfolio expansion, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Create market intelligence reports for founders and leadership teams to support decision-making.
4. Founder & Leadership Communications
- Act as a strategic communication partner to the Founders.
- Draft and review high-impact business communications, presentations, strategic proposals, board materials, investor updates, and leadership announcements.
- Prepare executive briefings, discussion notes, meeting summaries, and decision-support documents.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in communication with principals, partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support founder-led initiatives, external engagements, industry forums, and strategic relationship management.
5. Execution & Program Ownership
- Own end-to-end execution of high-impact strategic initiatives from ideation through implementation.
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and outcomes with strong project governance.
- Drive accountability across teams and ensure timely delivery of critical priorities.
6. Technology, Analytics & AI Enablement
- Leverage technology, analytics, automation, and AI tools to improve decision-making and execution efficiency.
- Drive implementation of dashboards, MIS frameworks, process automation, and digital workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational productivity through data and technology.
- Champion AI adoption and emerging technologies across business functions.
7. Special Projects
- New business launches and incubation initiatives.
- Go-to-market strategy and commercial excellence projects.
- Pricing, profitability, and business performance improvement initiatives.
- M&A evaluation, due diligence support, integration planning, and post-merger execution.
- Founder-led strategic pilots and confidential business initiatives.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Founder's Office, CEO's Office, Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Transformation, Venture Building, or high-growth startup environments.
- Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Experience interacting with senior leadership, founders, board members, or external partners.
Educational Qualifications
- Outstanding academic background from premier institutions strongly preferred.
- Engineering degree and/or MBA/PGDM from IITs, IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS, top global universities, or equivalent institutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional structured thinking and business acumen.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams.
- Commercial understanding of partnerships, distribution, manufacturing, and B2B business models.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, AI tools, business analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
Good to Have
- Experience in brand partnerships, strategic sourcing, or international business development.
- Exposure to manufacturing, lighting, facility management, automation, industrial products, or B2B distribution businesses.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies, financial modelling, and commercial due diligence.
Location: Worli, Mumbai (Next to Acharya Atre Chowk Metro Station, Aqua Line)
Working Days: 5 Days a Week + 1 Working Saturday (3rd Saturday of Every Month)
