About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and execution-oriented professional to join the Founder's Office and work closely with the Managing Partner of our venture capital fund.
The position combines strategic support, executive management, research, stakeholder coordination, and special projects across investments, portfolio companies, fundraising, and ecosystem development; and needs someone who can seamlessly switch between strategic thinking and flawless execution.
While the role reports to the Managing Partner and works most closely with him, the individual will also support other Partners & collaborate with the team on strategic initiatives, fundraising, portfolio support, and ecosystem engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Leadership Support
- Prepare agendas, briefing notes, presentations, meeting summaries, and action trackers.
- Ensure timely follow-up and execution of key decisions and action items.
- Manage the Managing Partner's calendar, meetings, travel, and priorities efficiently.
- Coordinate meetings with founders, investors, portfolio companies, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners.
- Support Partners & team on strategic initiatives and cross-functional priorities, as required.
Strategic Projects & Research
- Conduct research on industries, emerging technologies, startups, and investment themes.
- Prepare concise briefing notes, market insights, and background materials ahead of meetings.
- Support preparation of investment committee presentations, fundraising materials, and strategic documents.
- Assist in tracking portfolio performance, market developments, and ecosystem trends.
Portfolio & Ecosystem Engagement
- Coordinate interactions with portfolio companies and maintain regular communication trackers.
- Support founder engagements, events, workshops, and ecosystem initiatives.
- Assist in managing strategic partnerships and external stakeholder relationships.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Draft professional correspondence, presentations, speeches, and reports.
- Act as an effective liaison between the Managing Partner and internal/external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
Special Projects & Firm Building
- Drive special initiatives related to fundraising, investor relations, branding, talent, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Support the Managing Partner in building processes and institutional capabilities as the fund scales.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc projects and ensure timely execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.
- MBA, Master's degree, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines.
- 2–6 years of experience in:
