About the Team
The New Initiatives team within Swiggy's Food Delivery business works on identifying and scaling new growth opportunities. The team focuses on building and executing high-impact initiatives that unlock demand, drive user engagement, and create long-term strategic value for the platform.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and entrepreneurial Manager - New Initiatives who will work on identifying, designing, and executing growth initiatives across priority user segments. The role requires a mix ofstrategy, execution, analytics, and stakeholder management. This role will primarily focus on driving growth across corporate user segments, a key cohort with strong potential to scale orders and engagement on the platform.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams across product, business, marketing, operations, and analytics to conceptualize initiatives, drive alignment with leadership, and execute experiments that help scale the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and conceptualize new initiatives to drive growth within the corporate user segment.
. Own end-to-end execution of initiatives - from ideation and planning to launch and scale. . Work closely with cross-functional teams to operationalize initiatives and ensure smooth execution to meet annual goals. . Uncover additional opportunities in case identified opportunities are not firing to meet annual goals2. Data Analysis & Insights to identify opportunities and diagnose performance gaps.
. Develop insights around user behavior, order funnels, and engagement metrics . . Measure the impact of initiatives and derive learnings on what worked and what didn't and take actions accordingly4. Stakeholder Management
. Collaborate with multiple teams including product, marketing, operations, and analytics. . Build alignment with the team leads to drive approval and implementation of initiatives. . Ensure timely execution by coordinating across stakeholders.5. Experimentation & Problem Solving
. Run experiments and pilots to test new ideas and business hypotheses. . Track results, refine strategies, and scale successful initiatives. . Bring structured thinking and business judgment to solve ambiguous problems. Ideal Candidate Profile
. 4-5 years of experience in e-commerce, consumer internet, consulting, or a high-growth startup. . Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data independently. . Strong working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and SQL and comfort with data analysis. . Strong understanding of consumer internet/e-commerce funnels and growth levers. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. . Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and take ownership of outcomes. . Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take on challenging problem statements.Qualifications & Experience:
. Undergraduate / Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM) with 4-5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or program management roles. . Preferred experience in startups, consumer tech, or top-tier consulting firms.
