About The Role
As a member of Corporate Security (CS) Global Cyber Operations (GCO) team
The Firewall service Manager is a senior technical leadership role within the Global Cyber Operations (GCO) function accountable for the management governance and optimization of a defined segment of the organization global firewall infrastructure.
This includes Palo Alto Cisco and FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) deployed across on-premises data centers cloud environments and co-located facilities.
In This Role, You Will
- Own the operational and configuration lifecycle of assigned firewalls across global environments.
- Review and approve firewall rule change requests ensuring adherence to least privilege and segmentation principles.
- Govern administrative access to firewall platforms ensuring controlled and auditable privileges.
- Establish and maintain configuration baselines across vendors and environments.
- Lead firewall-related changes upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Monitor health performance and capacity metrics for all firewalls under scope.
- Conduct periodic configuration audits to align with organizational security baselines.
- Contribute to firewall design architecture segmentation strategies and network modernization projects.
- Develop and maintain metrics for rule base size rule hits performance utilization and policy compliance.
