How will you make an impact in this role
The Finance Automation COE team within the Finance Technology Data & Transformation (FTD&T) group is responsible for strengthening business engagement framework, identifying and delivering results on critical projects and initiatives leveraging process automation and the use of advanced technologies.
We are looking for a motivated colleague who is collaborative and passionate about transforming processes using automation and technology tools to solve difficult business issues. The ideal candidate is expected to have a combination of fin-tech knowledge, product ownership and project management skills. The role is expected to lead Automation initiatives, hybrid solutions including AI, Gen AI & self-service capabilities to support sizable and multi-year US Regulatory, Guardian, Lumi & Finance automation initiatives. The individual will report to Finance Automation COE Director and will be based in Gurugram, India. The role includes performing process analysis, solution design and partnering with stakeholders to deploy technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end product delivery across the lifecycle-ideation, strategy, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support for enterprise-scale AI/GenAI solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI/ML and GenAI adoption, translating business problems into scalable, data-driven technical solutions.
- Drive requirements gathering and analysis, creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/technical documentation.
- Partner with engineers, and architects to design and integrate AI/ML models and GenAI capabilities (e.g., LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering) into business workflows.
- Identify and implement intelligent automation and process optimization initiatives using AI, ML, Business Process Management, and analytics tools to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Participate & Support in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and ensure smooth delivery using tools like Jira/Rally, managing backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating complex AI concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics, KPIs, and insights to continuously enhance product performance and business outcomes.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing cross-functional teams to achieve alignment and successful execution.
- Evaluate existing business processes to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and AI-led transformation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and learning agility within teams.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise product development and delivery, with hands-on involvement across the full product lifecycle-ideation, strategy, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance in large-scale, complex environments.
- Demonstrate strategic thought leadership superior problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to assess business objectives/strategies and define/implement appropriate strategies. Proactive, and collaborative work style.
- Strong ability to translate business problems into technical solutions, including AI/ML and GenAI-driven use cases.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, including creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Experience working with AI/GenAI tools and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, automation tools), with the ability to identify and implement intelligent automation opportunities.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, data-driven decision making, and AI product lifecycle, including model integration into business workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and end-to-end delivery using tools such as Jira or Rally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience in business process evaluation and optimization, leveraging AI, ML, BPM, and automation tools to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI/technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery.
- Awareness and/or hands-on experience with automation ecosystems, including Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Business Process Management (BPM), and open-source AI technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Banking/Financial Services domain experience is preferred, especially in data-driven or AI-led transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated learning agility, curiosity, and adaptability to emerging technologies, particularly in the evolving AI/GenAI space.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field (preferred).
