The jobholder is responsible for managing the Financial Reporting including IFRS implementation in Insurance Companies, internal and regulatory reporting.
The jobholder is expected to co-ordinate with the statutory auditors of the Company for the field work and would be responsible for independent Financial preparation on basis of IFRS.
Closely work on IFRS and IndAS applicable on Insurance Companies
Monitor, Review and keep a check on GL including the interfaces to ledgers
Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing as per applicable Standards and Regulations.
Periodic internal and external/regulatory reporting.
Managing the statutory audit related deliverables and timelines.
Assist the DVP/ VP in Risk and Control assessment.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years of experience in Insurance sector
Skills/ Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of IFRS, INDAS and Accounting Standards.
Knowledge of the Oracle ERP will be helpful.
Experience of Financial reporting in Insurance Companies
Handling Ind AS based reporting
Must demonstrate reasonably good verbal and written communication skills.
Good spread sheet/excel MIS capabilities.
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant experience in the financial control & Reporting area.
