Riveron India is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis activities. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for business and leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial planning, or business finance roles
- MBA in Finance preferred
- Experience working in professional services, consulting, GCCs, or similar industries preferred
- Strong hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI or other BI and data visualization tools
- Ability to analyze large datasets and deliver clear financial narratives and insights
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, revenue, billing, and financial statements
What You'll Do
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
- Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for leadership
- Perform detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actuals, forecast vs. actuals) and identify key business drivers
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations from financial and operational data
- Build financial models, forecasts, and multiple business scenarios to support strategic decisions
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand performance trends, risks, and opportunities
- Leverage advanced Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization tools to automate and enhance reporting
- Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis, strategic initiatives, and special projects
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting and planning processes
- Maintain reasonable understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, billing, and cost structures
