PayAssured is a commercial debt recovery firm helping businesses recover overdue B2B receivables through structured collections, negotiations and legal action supported by lawyers.

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional who can track the company's financial performance and support leadership in planning for future growth.

The role will include:

• Monthly MIS and financial reporting

• Revenue, collection and cost tracking

• Cash-flow planning and forecasting

• Budgeting and variance analysis

• Client-wise and service-wise profitability

• Receivables, payables and working-capital monitoring

• Evaluation of commercial proposals and margins

• Coordination with external CAs for GST, TDS, taxation and audits

• Financial dashboards and actionable business insights

This role goes beyond bookkeeping. The candidate should be able to interpret financial data and support commercial and strategic decisions.

Must Have

• 3–6 years of experience in finance, MIS, budgeting, accounting or FP&A

• Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books

• Experience in invoicing, reconciliations, receivables, payables and monthly closing

• Strong understanding of financial statements and cash-flow management

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

• Experience preparing MIS reports, budgets and forecasts

• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian financial compliance

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to independently build and improve finance processes

Good to Have

• Advanced expertise in Zoho Books, including workflows, automation and reporting

• CA Inter, CMA, CMA Inter, MBA Finance, M.Com or a similar qualification. B. Com with experience and passion for finance will be considered as well

• Experience in a startup, founder-led company or fast-growing organisation

• Exposure to client profitability, pricing, unit economics or scenario modelling

• Experience working directly with founders or senior management
