We are seeking a
Global Finance & Accounting Manager to drive financial operations and international accounting for our scaling SaaS business. You will manage global entity accounting, complex SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606), multi-currency consolidation, and SaaS-specific operational metrics. This role is pivotal in scaling our global infrastructure, managing international tax footprint, and ensuring unit economics are accurately tracked.
Key Responsibilities
Global Accounting & SaaS Revenue Recognition
- Lead global financial close processes across international entities (US, EMEA, APAC) under US GAAP / IFRS.
- Oversee multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and FX variance analysis.
- Enforce compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards for subscription billing, multi-element contracts, professional services, and custom enterprise deals.
- Manage SaaS-specific workflows, including deferred revenue, unbilled AR, contract acquisition costs (ASC 340-40 capitalization of commissions), and churn accounting.
SaaS FP&A & Metrics
- Own the reporting of core SaaS metrics: CARR/ARR/MRR/Churn.
- Partner with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to monitor deferred revenue schedules, billing operations
- Track gross margin driver costs (AWS/cloud hosting infrastructure, third-party software overhead, customer support allocation).
- Coordinate external audits across global subsidiaries and liaise with regional tax advisors.
Systems & Process Automation
- Maintain and optimize the global tech stack: Financial ERP (NetSuite), Billing/Subscription/Sales Tax/RevRec engines (Suite Projects/Avalara).
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation required.
- Experience: 8+ years of core accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role inside a B2B SaaS / Tech company operating internationally.
- SaaS Expertise: Deep operational command of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and global multi-entity consolidations.
- Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in SaaS financial tools (NetSuite, Avalara, Salesforce).
- Work Style: Proven capability to work in cross-functional global teams across multiple time zones in a high-growth environment.
