Role: Manager, Finance (FP&A)

About the Role
As part of a growing SaaS company, the FP&A role will drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while also acting as a trusted advisor to business teams. The candidate will partner closely with leadership on decision-making, investments, and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide entity-wise and consolidated monthly reporting on financials with insights and present to management.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle (annual, quarterly).
- Build and maintain SaaS financial models for existing and new businesses, including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, unit economics, etc.
- Track key SaaS metrics and provide insights into growth, retention, and profitability drivers.
- Develop management dashboards and board-level/ investor reporting.
- Support fundraising and investor reporting as needed.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to provide financial insights and decision support.
- Evaluate new initiatives, pricing models, product launches, and GTM strategies through financial lens.
- Drive ROI analysis on marketing campaigns, product investments, and hiring decisions.
- Act as a bridge between finance and business, enabling data-driven decision making.
Operational Excellence & Controls:
- Strengthen financial processes, systems, and reporting as the company scales.
- Support compliances with internal controls and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.
Qualifications/ Skills
- CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
- 57 years of experience in FP&A and/or business finance, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based companies.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, and ARR/MRR mechanics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills ability to influence non-finance leaders.
- Team management skills
- Strong business acumen and a proactive, strategic mindset.
- Hands-on with Excel/Google Sheets; exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) preferred.
