Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Donor Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and review donor reports and audited utilization certificates in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate donor tagging and track expenses across grants and vendors.
  • Reconcile financial data with impact reporting to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports with actionable insights.
  • Conduct grant income and liability reconciliations and ensure correct revenue recognition.
  • Monitor vendor payments to confirm alignment with donor-approved budgets.
  • Support statutory and internal audits through timely documentation and query resolution.
  • Manage Form 10BD and 10BE reconciliations as per legal timelines.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Handle FCRA-related filings including FC4 and bifurcations for salaries.
  • Ensure correct classification of grants and appeals per legal and internal policy.

Process Excellence and Compliance

  • Streamline financial processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
  • Implement strict controls for maintaining financial data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify inconsistencies and improve data reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide real-time reporting tools and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and track their performance for financial accountability.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times and lead audit preparation processes.

Requirements

  • CA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 57 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in the development sector or CSR-funded organisations.
  • Knowledge of FCRA, Income Tax Act, and CSR financial compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tally, or other ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
