Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Finance and Payroll professional to manage end-to-end HR operations, payroll processing, compliance, ESOP management, travel & allowance (TA) handling, and incentive structures, cost controls. The role requires strong analytical ability, ownership mindset, and experience in handling systems and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing (monthly/bi-weekly)
- Ensure accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and payouts
- Handle full & final settlements, bonuses, and variable pay
- Maintain payroll records and generate reports for finance and management
2. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other statutory regulations
- Ensure calculation and timely payments
- Maintain compliance calendars and filings
- Stay updated with labor law changes
- Maintain employee records and HRMS data accuracy
3. ESOP Management
- Support ESOP structuring, allocation, and documentation
- Maintain ESOP records, vesting schedules, and grant tracking
- Coordinate with finance/legal teams for ESOP compliance and reporting
- Assist employees with ESOP-related queries
4. Travel & Allowance (TA) Management
- Manage employee travel reimbursements and claims
- Validate and process expense reports in line with company policy
- Ensure timely reimbursements and proper documentation
5. Incentive & Variable Pay Handling
- Design and manage incentive structures in coordination with business teams
- Calculate and process incentives for field agents, sales, and operations teams
- Track performance metrics linked to payouts
- Ensure transparency and accuracy in incentive calculations
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Generate HR MIS reports (payroll, headcount, attrition, incentives, etc.)
- Provide insights for decision-making
- Work closely with finance and leadership for budgeting and cost analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Finance, or related field
- 2–8 years of experience in HR Operations & Payroll
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software
- Advanced Excel skills (important for payroll & incentive calculations)
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fintech / NBFC / startup environment
- Exposure to ESOP frameworks and incentive-heavy structures
- Experience handling field force payroll or collections/sales teams
