Job Description
An Accounts and Finance Manager oversees the financial operations of a company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management. They handle financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, while also providing financial guidance to other departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Developing and monitoring budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analyzing variances.
- Managing Accounting Operations: Overseeing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax reporting.
- Ensuring Compliance: Maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Staff Supervision: Leading and developing the accounting and finance team.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments on financial matters.
Required Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in accounting and financial software, Leadership and management skills, and Attention to detail and organizational skills. Education & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required.
- Relevant experience in accounting and finance is also essential.
- Professional certifications like CPA or ACCA can enhance career prospects.
