Job Description

Designation: Manager- Finance & Accounts (QC)

Qualification: ACCA/ Mcom/ Bcom/ MBA/ Semi CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of graduates for accounting and finance controllership of allotted clients.
  • Provide support to our clients to manage Financial Accounting and Reporting activities and ensure compliance in all the aspects pertaining to financial accounting.
  • Review clients accounting and identify gaps and provide resolutions.
  • Ensure timely MIS, payment of taxes and all statutory compliances.
  • Finalizing all the statutory workings monthly / quarterly / annually (GST, TDS, Income Tax, FEMA, ROC etc.)
  • Be responsible for accounting up to finalization of year end accounts as per different Accounting Standards and GAAP's, ensure error proof accounting and its reconciliation with statutory reconciliations.
  • Execution of Due Diligence support engagements.
  • Liaise with the DD team on day-to-day basis till the closure of audit.
  • Execution of audit support engagements.
  • Assist client in preparing schedules and working papers for audit.
  • Liaise with the auditors on day-to-day basis till the closure of audit.
  • Handle execution responsibilities of allotted client independently.
  • Liaison with other operation teams for carrying out day to day to activities.
  • Being responsive to client demands, project deadlines, and addressing team queries and resolution.
  • Ensure minimal escalations from client.

Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA), Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), Semi-Qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent.

Competencies

  • Strong accounting background and understanding of accounting standards and Principles, financial statements, Direct and Indirect taxes, Companies Act and transfer pricing.
  • Good communications skills, stakeholder management and status reporting experience.
  • Experience and ability in leading a team of 5-10 members.
  • Ability to manage demanding clients through improvement planning and long-term vision of improving service levels.
  • Have experience in process review, continuous process improvement and driving efficiency in team.
  • Should take ownership of his/her work and initiate required activities to get the results.
  • Problem solving attitude.
