Role : You are Head of the Accounts & Taxation reporting Group CFO, Lead the team of department at all the four plants and Corporate Office and get implement systems at all plants and corporate office, You will be responsible for data analysis and presentation of data and interpretations to Management, Board of Directors and to the Auditors. You will be accountable for statutory and legal compliances and justifications to one of the Big 4 Audit Agency.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS).
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
2. Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
- Ensure timely filing of all tax returns (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.).
- Manage tax assessments, appeals, and litigation.
- Implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure compliance.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with business units.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial forecasting.
4. Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, etc.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and consultants.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and inspections.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the accounts and taxation team.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
6. ERP & Systems Management
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle).
- Ensure data integrity and system controls.
- Drive automation and process improvements.
7. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal departments for financial planning and analysis.
- Present financial and tax reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax advisors.
Qualifications Required
Professional Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Essential
- Pls note: CA Final Candidates only are required to Apply; Inter CA is not Eligible for this position.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations (SEBI, RBI, Companies Act).

- Proficiency in financial software Tally.
Knowledge of cost accounting and supply chain finance.
Experience with venture capital, burn rate management.
