Job Description
The person will be responsible for accounting, tax and related compliance for Taj Hotel, Vikhroli, Godrej Two and other Vikhroli Assets. The person will also support to corporate finance team for preparation of standalone and consolidated financial, MIS, various statutory compliance, driving automation and related activities. This will include coordination with operation team and various departments to gathered requisite information and provide necessary support and guidance, coordination with internal and statutory auditors and resolve their queries, ensure compliance under various statues, rules and regulations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibility Area
Finance & Account Responsibility
- Ensuring day to day accounting, AR and AP activities related to Hotel and other Vikhroli assets
- Coordination with Hotel Operation team for various activities related to accounting
- Inventory management, Fixed Assets Accounting, and budgetary control
- To perform Trial Balance and Ledger scrutiny and pass various closing /adjustment accounting entries
- Prepare periodical MIS Reports, Financial Statement along with accounting policies and note to accounts
- Support Corporate team for MIS and Quarterly Financial closure activities
- Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits
- Prepare/validate monthly/ quarterly/annual and long-range forecast
- Provide data and information to various functions as per requirement
- Analyse Business performance on various KPI and suggestion for improvement
- Ensure timely vendor payment, bank reconciliation
Compliance
- Ensure Direct and Indirect tax related compliances for Hotel and other Vikhroli assets
- Ensure robust Internal Control on Financial Reporting (ICFOR)
- Ensure Compliance related to SEBI LODR and Companies Act
- Ensure timely submission of various returns to authorities//providing data related to Hotel and other entity
System & Processes
- Assist corporate team to drive system and process automation
- Coordinate with IT, region, and other functions for automation
- Ensure accuracy of various dashboard and system reports
- Ensure robust audit and financial closure process

Who are we looking for
Education Qualification & Experience
Qualified CA with at least extensive years of experience in accounting preferably from Hotel and Hospitality Industries
Functional/ Technical competencies
- Knowledge of SAP
- Understanding of IND AS
- Corporate tax and GST awareness
- Awareness of latest regulations pertaining to tax, accounting treatments etc
