Manager EXIM, DGFT & Export Finance Operations

About the opportunity

Pasondia Cables is looking for a hands-on EXIM professional to independently manage export-import operations for our manufacturing and export business, with particular strength in Advance Authorisation, DGFT procedures, export documentation and banking.

You will handle transactions end-to-end — from pre-shipment planning through dispatch, payment realisation, incentive claims, licence utilisation and regulatory closure — working closely with production, accounts, CHAs, freight forwarders, shipping lines and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle Advance Authorisation applications, amendments, utilisation tracking, export-obligation monitoring and closure.
• Handle DFIA, EPCG, RoDTEP, duty drawback and other applicable export incentives.
• Manage DGFT, ICEGATE, Customs and related government portals.
• Review export orders and letters of credit before acceptance; prepare and verify LC documents and coordinate negotiation or collection with banks.
• Manage invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of lading, certificates of origin and other banking and export documentation.
• Coordinate with production, accounts, CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines and banks to ensure timely, compliant shipments.
• Handle e-BRC, EDPMS/IDPMS, remittance reconciliation and shipment closure.
• Maintain licence-wise, shipment-wise and payment-wise trackers.
• Support international accounting, export debtor reconciliation and audit requirements.
• Identify documentation and compliance risks before shipment and resolve them proactively.

Candidate profile

• 6–12 years of hands-on experience in EXIM operations with a manufacturing exporter.
• Practical, independent experience with Advance Authorisation (application, amendment, utilisation tracking, closure) is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of export LCs and banking documentation is mandatory.
• Good exposure to DGFT, Customs, ICEGATE, e-BRC, EDPMS/IDPMS and export incentive schemes.
• Experience in engineering, electrical, cable or project-export companies preferred.
• Commerce, Finance, International Trade or related qualification.
• Strong Excel, ERP and documentation capabilities.
• Able to work full-time on-site at our Duhai Industrial Area facility in Ghaziabad.
• Able to join within 15–30 days is preferred; an exceptional candidate with a longer notice period may still be considered.
