Job Title: Manager Underwriting

Location: Navi Mumbai

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in life or health insurance underwriting

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess life and health insurance applications
• Make underwriting decisions within financial authority
• Refer complex cases to reinsurers with complete documentation
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and IRDAI regulations
• Collaborate with branches, regional teams, IT, and reinsurers
• Maintain decision quality and turnaround times

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of medical and financial underwriting practices
• Familiarity with regulatory and risk assessment frameworks
• Experience handling high-value insurance proposals
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Team-oriented with adaptability to organizational processes

Preferred Background:

Experience in leading life or health insurance companies with a proven track record in underwriting and reinsurance coordination.
