Manager - Equity Confirmation Drafting

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Draft Confirmations requests from counterparties and internal stakeholders.
• Risk mitigate and confirm OTC derivative transitions with both internal and external clients via paper or electronic confirmation process.
• Deal with trade confirmation language discrepancies and economic breaks, investigating issues to confirm root cause and manage through to resolution
• Collaborate with counterparties and internal stakeholders - resolving urgent issues, clarification of issues or drafting points on outstanding trade confirmations.
• Create confirmation templates where necessary, seeking Sales, Trading and Legal approvals.
• Support Risk, Legal and Trading teams, proposing solutions across documentation.
• Deliver strategic projects to drive efficiency and enhanced controls.
• Manage other tasks assigned as demand dictates.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 5-7 years experience within the structured products space
• Knowledge of the 2002 and 2006ISDA Equity and Swap Definitions & terms
• Knowledge of key economic (& non-economic) terms within Confirmation documentation
• Good front to back knowledge across Confirmations drafting space
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with OTC Equity Structured Products. Such products include Conditional Variance Swaps, Phoenix Auto calls, Swap Strategies, Worst/Best of Strategies. Covering vanilla and exotic products.
