Job Description

  • Design, configure, and deploy AVEVA System Platform (Galaxy, Model, Templates) for industrial automation projects.
  • Develop and maintain Object Templates, Instances, ArchestrA Graphics, Situational Awareness graphics.
  • Configure Communication Drivers (OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DNP3)
  • Build and deploy InTouch OMI and InTouch HMI applications within System Platform.
  • Configure alarms, historian tags, and real‑time dashboards.
  • Integrate System Platform with PLC/SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
  • Configure and optimize AVEVA Historian, Historian Clients (Trends, Reports), and Data Archive.
  • Implement security, user roles, authentication, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot system issues including communication, deployment, graphics, and performance.
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, customer training, and documentation.
  • Work with Electrical, Controls, and Process Engineering teams to ensure correct I/O mapping and process logic.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project requirements, and cyber‑security guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • AVEVA System Platform (Galaxy, ArchestrA IDE, Engine Deployment)
    • InTouch HMI / InTouch OMI
    • ArchestrA Graphics / Situational Awareness Library
    • AVEVA Historian
    • OPC DA/UA, Modbus, SuiteLink, DDE communications
  • Good understanding of:
    • PLC programming basics Schneider M340/M580, etc.
    • SCADA architecture, redundancy, failover systems
    • Industrial Networking (VLAN, TCP/IP, Firewalls, DMZ basics)
  • Familiarity with:
    • SQL Server for Historian queries
    • AVEVA Engineering tools (MES, Edge – optional)
    • Deployment on virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Ability to read P&IDs, IO lists, control narratives, and functional design documents.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
  • Good communication and customer‑interaction skills.
  • Ability to work in industrial sites (oil & gas ,manufacturing, power, water)
  • Capable of handling FAT/SAT independently.
  • Comfortable working in Agile or project‑based environments.
