This role is a key leadership position within a fast-scaling technology organization responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise-grade software platforms. You will lead engineering teams working across modern web, API, and cloud-native systems while driving execution of strategic initiatives that directly impact platform reliability and business performance. The role combines hands-on technical oversight with strong people leadership, requiring you to guide architecture decisions, improve delivery processes, and ensure engineering excellence at scale. You will collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, security, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions in an agile environment. This is a high-visibility position where your leadership will influence both technical direction and organizational capability. Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement while supporting career growth and performance development.
- Drive end-to-end software delivery across enterprise platforms, ensuring predictable execution of roadmaps, agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release readiness.
- Define and govern application architecture across web, API, cloud, and enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with long-term strategy.
- Oversee modernization initiatives across cloud-native and enterprise technologies, including .NET, Salesforce, AWS, and related platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure platform resilience, availability, and operational excellence.
- Manage external vendors and delivery partners, ensuring alignment, knowledge transfer, and high-quality output.
- Champion quality engineering practices, automation, and governance frameworks to ensure secure and compliant software delivery.
- Provide technical leadership while balancing execution oversight, risk management, and stakeholder communication across business and engineering functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in engineering leadership or management roles.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale engineering teams and complex software delivery programs.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, APIs, distributed systems, and modern web applications.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, React, .NET, and AWS.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, CI/CD practices, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including product, infrastructure, security, and external vendors.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and operational oversight.
