Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching through code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
• Drive career growth and professional development through structured feedback and mentorship.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent to build a robust and diverse team.

Technical & Operational Excellence

• Oversee the development of reliable, high-quality, and scalable software solutions across multiple data platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure technical excellence through strong development practices, testing, and continuous integration.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles that impede progress or reduce efficiency.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Managers to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with support and sales engineering teams to enhance customer experience and solve complex issues.
• Contribute to organization-wide engineering initiatives that promote innovation and continuous improvement.
• Define and communicate a clear vision that aligns with Fivetran's mission and company goals.

Process Improvement & Culture Building

• Establish efficient workflows, agile practices, and team metrics for measurable impact.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Encourage experimentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
