Job Description
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
- Allocate resources and manage project timelines effectively.
Design & Implementation
- Oversee electrical system design for new installations and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with automation and instrumentation teams for integrated solutions.
Maintenance & Reliability
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and utilities.
Project Management
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project execution.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and safety norms.
- Implement energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain electrical drawings, SOPs, and validation documents.
- Prepare reports for audits and management reviews.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 812 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in pharma or process industries.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MCC, PCC, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (USFDA, EU GMP) and GxP compliance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
