Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Manager – E-Commerce (Marketplaces) to own and scale our presence across Flipkart and key emerging marketplaces including Meesho, Nykaa, Myntra, and other relevant platforms. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of sales, digital marketing, and operations.
Role & Responsibilities:
Marketplace Management & Growth
- Own end-to-end account management for Flipkart as the primary marketplace, and manage additional platforms including Meesho, Nykaa, Myntra.
- Drive GMV targets, market share, and profitability across all above platforms.
- Identify and onboard new relevant marketplaces aligned with the brand's growth strategy
- Manage and negotiate with marketplace account managers for better visibility, positioning, and promotional opportunities
Catalogue & Content
- Build and maintain optimized product listings — titles, descriptions, A+ content, images, and SEO keywords — tailored to each platform's algorithm and audience
- Ensure catalogue hygiene: pricing accuracy, stock availability, content compliance, and timely new product launches
Advertising & Visibility
- Plan and execute marketplace ad campaigns (Flipkart Ads, Nykaa Ads, etc.) to drive traffic and conversions within budgeted ROAS/ACOS targets
- Run promotional calendars aligned with platform sale events (Big Billion Days, Nykaa Beauty Days, End of Reason Sale, etc.)
- Collaborate with the brand/creative team to develop platform-specific creatives and campaign assets
Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch, SLA adherence, and inventory availability
- Monitor and resolve order defect rates, returns, and customer complaints to maintain strong seller health metrics
- Manage FBF (Fulfilled by Flipkart) / consignment/dropship models as applicable per platform
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report key metrics: GMV, conversion rates, impressions, ROAS, returns, ratings, and seller scorecards
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and category analysis to identify pricing and positioning opportunities
- Provide weekly/monthly performance dashboards to leadership with actionable insights
Experience & Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in e-commerce marketplace management, with at least 2 years handling Flipkart independently.
- Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 other platforms among: Meesho, Nykaa, Myntra, or similar.
- Prior experience in nutraceuticals, FMCG, beauty, or health & wellness is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in marketplace seller panels, ad consoles, and analytics dashboards
- Strong command over Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis; familiarity with tools like Unicommerce, SAP, or similar OMS is a plus
- Data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams across supply chain, brand, finance, and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Operations, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)
- Certifications in digital marketing or marketplace advertising are a plus
