Job Description

Role Requirements: Manager - Direct Tax Reporting (EMEA and APAC) | Shared Service/GBS



  • Lead global tax reporting under IFRS, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of consolidated quarterly and annual results.


  • Act as subject matter expert in IFRS tax accounting, including ETR, current and deferred tax, and cash tax reporting.


  • Drive tax transparency initiatives, Pillar 2 compliance, and strengthen the global tax governance framework.


  • Prepare tax forecasts and annual disclosures, providing analytical insights to senior management.


  • Develop and implement global tax reporting policies, controls, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.


  • Partner with global teams to enhance reporting efficiency through SAP, automation, and cloud-based solutions.


  • Collaborate with regional tax heads (Europe, LATAM & AMEA) to ensure alignment and accuracy in group consolidation.


  • Oversee EU MDR reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions.


  • Deliver insights on tax provisions, ETR movements, and transfer pricing impacts for leadership decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Direct Tax Reporting (EMEA and APAC) should have:



  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong technical expertise in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS


  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience in group tax reporting, compliance, and tax governance within a multinational or shared services environment.


  • Demonstrated experience managing global tax operations across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions.


  • Hands-on exposure to ETR analysis, deferred tax, cash tax, transfer pricing, and Pillar 2 compliance.


  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with regional tax leaders and drive global process improvements.
