This position is in the GRC Data Product Management team within Global Risk and Compliance Line of Business. The role sits at the intersection of business, data engineering, analytics, and governance. This role will be responsible for defining vision and strategic roadmap defining, for BAU data capabilities and platforms and the modernization efforts. Focus will be on building, and managing high-quality, governed data assets that enable accurate risk insights, strong controls, and audit-ready data capabilities. This is a highly visible and strategic position within the company.

Lead the strategy, development, and governance of GRC data products supporting risk management, regulatory reporting, and compliance. Own high-quality, audit-ready data assets that enable accurate risk insights, strong controls, and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the roadmap for data products aligned to risk and regulatory priorities
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable data product solutions
  • Establish and enforce data governance, ownership, and stewardship models
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal data policies
  • Define and monitor data quality standards for critical risk and regulatory data elements
  • Implement controls, validation rules, and monitoring for data accuracy and completeness
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver robust data pipelines and data assets
  • Manage product backlog, prioritization, and Agile delivery for GRC data initiatives
  • Work closely with the Technology team to develop, test and deliver the defined user stories for platform capabilities and features and rapidly iterate new solutions through automation and demo/prototyping.
  • Own and accept all user stories or features for assigned scrum team or capabilities
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Technology stakeholders
  • Drive data lineage, metadata management, and audit traceability
  • Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking
  • Enable standardized definitions and consistent reporting across GRC functions
  • Promote adoption of governed, high-quality data products
  • Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into requirements and team method of work
  • Identify opportunities to test and learn, define hypotheses, design experiments, evaluate results and recommend next steps
  • Track product usage, data quality metrics, and regulatory outcomes

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience driving product implementation in an iterative approach
  • A good balance of business acumen and technical knowledge with a proven track record of driving platform innovation with a customer-first mindset
  • Must have the ability to connect the dots between different requirements of different stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management
  • Ability to push the boundaries of existing technologies and processes
  • Strong leadership with the ability to influence others through partnerships
  • Must possess a growth mindset and creative thinking skills
  • Have intellectual curiosity and be a quick learner
  • Build empathy with customers and end users knowing that the impacts of their work can be felt across multiple entities
  • Experience with Case Management Tools or functions
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist Certification is a plus
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Knowledge of Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) activities is a plus
    • Experience in Cadence /CRR – Sanction screening platform is a plus
    • Experience supporting audits or regulatory exams
