- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of Linux/Unix system administration experience.
- Lead and support applications in a Linux-based hybrid cloud environment, managing VMs, storage, backups, recovery, monitoring, and deployments.
- Strong focus on automation, driving new implementations and improving operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot performance, networking, and application issues, provide Level‑2 support, and lead root cause analysis for incidents and escalations.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and support teams, with experience managing large-scale environments and scripting/software development preferred.

- Set, track, and deliver team goals and operational targets using clear metrics.
- Review team output, ensure quality delivery, and align execution with organizational objectives.

- Support staffing decisions, including hiring recommendations and capacity planning
What Would You Be Doing In This Role
- Lead and support multiple applications running in a Linux-based hybrid cloud environment.
- Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure including VM provisioning, storage, backups, recovery, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot performance, networking, and application issues, ensuring system stability and uptime.
- Provide Level‑2 support, handle escalations, and contribute to root cause analysis for incidents.
- Drive automation initiatives, including identifying new areas for automation and improving efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with development, support, and product teams on deployments, architecture, performance, and security.
