Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and industrialization of complex EE modules from end to end
  • Work with 1 or more EMS partners to develop manufacturing processes for new products to meet QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery) requirements
  • Work closely with R&D team in early phase of development activities to optimize the design and DFx activities
  • Work closely with CMs and PCB manufacturing partners to address the technical queries and to set up robust manufacturing processes.
  • Standardization and improvement of manufacturing processes of existing products to optimize the cost and to improve Quality.
  • Identification and/or assessment of potential supplier to meet River Quality standards
  • Know how to identify and use of special processes such as conformal coating, potting and FIP processes
  • Review design data package like Gerber, BOM, drawing and work with R&D team for any Gaps and corrections
  • Work with suppliers in RCA and trouble shooting of process issues
  • PPAP documentation and closure of NC's
  • Preparation of documentation like WI/SOP, AICTQ and SORs
  • Act as a bridge between internal R&D team and external supplier in resolving the queries with necessary corrections as needed
  • Ideal Candidate:

  • BE with 12-15 years experience in similar domine
  • Strong hold on electronic manufacturing processes such as SMT, Wave soldering, conformal coating, Potting, FIP and Box build assembly.
  • Hands on experience in Gerber review and reviewing tools such as GC preview, Altium and any other similar tools
  • Sound knowledge in DFX processes, majorly DFM, DFA and DFT.
  • Working experience in a product based organization or an OEM is a plus
  • Good knowledge in PPAP processes and documentation
  • Experience in turn key prototype manufacturing is an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in supplier selection, assessment and management.
  • Strong experience in RCA and troubleshooting of process related issues
  • Knowledge of Hardware product development processes i,e PLM.
  • Good knowledge in 8D/CAPA processes
  • Hands on experience in Change management processes
  • Experience in PCBA level RCA, reading schematics and trouble shooting is an added advantage
  • Good experience in preparation and reports and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge on ICT, FCT and EOL testing processes
