Job Description:
We are looking for an experiencedNaval Architectto lead design and engineering activities for vessel projects. The role involves handling design approvals, client interactions, production support, and coordination with regulatory bodies like IRS. The candidate will also support sales, purchase, and accounts teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Client interaction and clarification of technical queries
- Providing onsite support and resolving production-related issues
- Coordination and interaction with IRS for approvals and compliance
- Supporting the sales team in proposal preparation and concept design
- Assisting purchase and accounts teams related to Material Requisitions (MR)
- Obtaining IRS approvals for basic and detailed designs
- Preparing production drawings for vessels
- Managing external design activities
Requirements:
- B.Tech in Naval Architecture (Mandatory)
Note: Only candidates with Naval Architecture background will be considered. Mechanical engineering profiles will not be shortlisted.
- Candidates from Kerala (Mandatory)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experiencein vessel design and engineering
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and teams
- Strong knowledge of:
- IRS & IWL rules and regulations
- Ship stability principles
- FRP material properties
Salary Range : 90,000-100,000 Per Month
