Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient ETL processes and data pipelines. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse while ensuring accuracy, integrity, and performance.
In addition to strong ETL expertise, the candidate should have an open mindset toward leveraging AI powered tools and automation to accelerate development, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment. Experience or enthusiasm for adopting AI-driven solutions to improve engineering efficiency will be a strong advantage.
This role requires deep proficiency in ETL concepts, SQL (PostgreSQL), Python/PySpark, and experience with AWS technologies such as Glue Jobs, S3, and Redshift.

Responsibilities
.Design and implement scalable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into our data warehouse.
.Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue Jobs with a focus on performance and reliability.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data integration needs.
.Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure data quality and consistency.
.Design cost-efficient and optimized workflows leveraging AWS services.
.Document ETL workflows, data mappings, and processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.
.Stay up to date with industry trends in ETL, cloud data engineering, and automation.
.Provide technical support and guidance on ETL-related matters.
.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product-specific data requirements.
.Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., copilots, LLM-based code assistants, automated testing frameworks) to accelerate development, debugging, data analysis, and documentation.
.Identify opportunities to increase engineering productivity using AI/ML solutions, automation scripts, and intelligent workflow enhancements.
.Maintain an open and experimental mindset toward integrating new AI-driven capabilities in daily workflows.

Qualifications we Seek in you
Minimum qualifications

.Proficiency in ETL tools and extensive experience designing and implementing ETL processes.
.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
.Hands-on experience with AWS Glue Jobs, S3, Redshift, and other AWS services.
.Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and scripting using Python/PySpark.
.Familiarity with building and managing ETL pipelines in cloud-based environments.
.Exposure to or willingness to learn AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AWS AI services, LLM-based utilities) to improve efficiency.
.Understanding of how AI can support automation in coding, testing, data validation, and documentation is a plus.
