Brief about the role:

  • This role is part of the Crew Resources function, responsible for ensuring effective planning, rostering, and regulatory compliance for flight crew operations. The team works closely with operations, planning, and compliance units to ensure smooth execution of daily and monthly rosters.
  • The ideal candidate should bring strong operational understanding of crew processes, experience in team management, and the ability to work in a dynamic, timebound environment with high levels of accuracy and ownership.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Business, People Management, or related fields.
  • Postgraduation (completed or pursuing) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 12 years of total experience, including at least 7 years in aviation crew management / crew operations.
  • Handson experience with crew management systems, rostering tools, and data handling.
  • Experience managing a team of 10 or more professionals.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written), MS Office, and general computer applications.
  • Exposure to aviation compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Skill set

  • Strong analytical thinking and decisionmaking capability.
  • Ability to interpret and visualize data for operational insights.
  • Knowledge of airline rostering systems and crew resource planning.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams and drive performance under timebound targets.
  • Good listening skills, learning agility, and problemsolving mindset.

Job responsibility:

  • Oversee daytoday crew management and ensure timely, efficient roster execution.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements related to crew duty, FDTL, and rostering standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of crew management professionals to achieve operational KPIs.
  • Work on crew management systems for data updates, roster adjustments, and optimization workflows.
  • Analyze daily crew deployment and recommend improvements for utilization and efficiency.
  • Generate MIS, reports, and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Ensure resolution of operational challenges while maintaining high crew satisfaction and team motivation.
  • Collaborate with planning, preops, training, and operations teams for seamless endtoend execution.
