The Role:
He/She will lead the end-to-end credit decisioning framework, focusing on achieving an 80% Straight Through Processing (STP) rate and drastically reducing Turnaround Time (TAT). This role sits at the intersection of credit risk, data analytics, and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Leadership: Drive the strategy for automated approvals and optimize business rules within the BRE on a quarterly basis.
- Data-Driven Insights: Conduct what-if analyses on policy amendments and lead monthly root-cause reviews on application rejections.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish a self-audit framework and lead internal/regulatory audits to ensure 100% compliance and robust audit trails.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with IT, Data Analytics, and Business teams to align credit rules with organizational goals.
- Team Development: Oversee daily operations, providing technical mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous process improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in Credit Policy, Risk Management, or Credit Operations.
- Hands-on expertise with Business Rules Engines (BRE) and automated decisioning tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable policy changes.
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing internal/external audits.
Education : Graduates /MBA/MCA / Post-graduation or Equivalent preferably in finance / Business management.
Experience : 7-10 years of experience in Business Rule engines & implementation of credit policy
