Qualification & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost planning, and project budgeting
Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:
- Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying activities, including preparation of cost estimates and feasibility studies.
- Lead cost estimation and planning, and present final cost plans.
- Conduct cost checks and valuations for projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly post-contract cost reports across all project stages.
- Review variation orders, basic rate escalations, contractual claims, and perform rate analysis.
- Oversee overall project budget control, including preparation of budgets from project inception (BD/TDD stage) through concept, schematic, GFC stages, and annual cost-to-complete budgets.
- Prepare and track project-wise cost-to-complete budgets on a quarterly basis.
- Finalize quantity take-offs and BOQs for tendering.
- Monitor project design and development from a cost perspective.
- Provide cost optimization inputs to the design team.
- Support the BD team with cost inputs for prospective deals and assist the planning team in monitoring cash outflows.
