Position Summary

The Manager – Costing & Budgeting will oversee project quantification, cost monitoring, and rate analysis to ensure budget adherence and accurate financial tracking. This role requires strong coordination with consultants and site teams to optimize construction budgets and maintain project profitability while leveraging advanced tools like SAP, BIM, and other estimating software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational / Customer Responsibilities

Vendor Master Management

  • Verify all required documents for vendor empanelment, including PAN Card and statutory numbers.
  • Address vendor queries and ensure smooth empanelment processes.
  • Performance Measures: Accuracy, Turnaround Time (TAT).

Material Master Creation

  • Create and manage the material master in SAP.
  • Ensure contractors/vendors are provided with all necessary documents for work order execution.

Pre-qualification of Contractors & Consultants

  • Assist in vendor shortlisting based on quotation rates, reviews, and recommendations.
  • Conduct reference checks to assess vendor profiles, company reputation, and work quality.

SAP Support Functions

  • Act as a part of the SAP core team to assist and train users in SAP (MM module).
  • Address process and system-related queries and create user manuals for SAP.
  • Performance Measures: TAT, Process Compliance.
  • Process Responsibilities:

Process Adherence

  • Ensure compliance with company-defined guidelines and processes.
  • Adhere strictly to project timelines.
  • Performance Measures: Process Compliance Percentage.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the work area.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

Performance Measures

  • Initiatives Taken, Impact of Improvement Ideas.

People Responsibilities

Learning and Development

  • Identify personal development needs and pursue self-development through training, certifications, and project involvement.
  • Performance Measures: New Skills Acquired.

Working Relationships

Internal Interfaces

  • Collaborate with all departments for contract-related issues and vendor interactions.
