Job Description

Orane International is at an inflection point — 120+ academies, a national footprint, and a pipeline of partnerships, new verticals, and growth bets that need sharp thinking to move from whiteboard to reality. This role exists for someone who wants to build, not maintain.

You will work directly with the MD on the company's most ambiguous and consequential questions — new business models, strategic partnerships, financial viability of initiatives, and the kind of analysis that helps leadership say yes or no with confidence.

This is not a PowerPoint factory role. It's for someone who can walk into a room with a government body, a franchise partner, or a university collaborator — hold the conversation intelligently — and come back and build the business case themselves.

What You'll Actually Do

Own the end-to-end development of new strategic initiatives — from problem framing to financial modeling to go/no-go recommendation. Build detailed business plans for new verticals, geographies, partnerships, and product lines. Conduct market, competitive, and financial analysis that informs real decisions. Use AI tools actively — not as a gimmick, but as a genuine productivity multiplier in research, synthesis, and output creation. Represent Orane in first-level external meetings with partners, institutions, and collaborators. Work with data to find patterns, surface insights, and translate numbers into narrative.

Who You Are

You've spent 3–6 years in a fast-moving consumer, education, retail, or services business — ideally in a lean team where you wore multiple hats. You've worked closely with a founder or a senior operator, which means you understand that speed and judgment matter more than perfection. You can build a financial model and then explain it in plain language in the same afternoon. You're comfortable being the only person in the room who doesn't have a title yet — and holding your own anyway.

You think in frameworks but don't hide behind them. You write clearly. You're genuinely curious about how AI is reshaping how work gets done, and you've already started using it — not waiting for someone to train you.

Must-Haves

MBA or equivalent rigour from a good institution. 3–6 years of experience in strategy, business development, consulting, or a high-ownership role in a growth-stage company. Demonstrated financial modeling and business planning capability. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to structure it. Strong written and verbal communication. Hands-on with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) in actual work — not just awareness.

Nice to Have

Prior exposure to education, franchise, or multi-location consumer businesses. Experience in government partnerships or institutional tie-ups. Some comfort with basic data tools — Excel at minimum, Python or SQL a bonus.

What This Role Is Not

This is not for someone who needs a detailed brief before they start. It's not for someone who's used to large team support. And it's not for someone whose primary output is decks.
