Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements including leases.
  • Managing the entire contract life cycle.
  • Draft contract templates for all lines of businesses.
  • Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company by creating awareness.
  • Legal support to other departments.
  • Handling trademark portfolio including, but not limited to, seeking advice from IP attorney to understand the registration process, co-ordinate with branding team, share the mark for registration and ensure replies are filed within time.
  • Shops & Establishment compliances
  • Legal research.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect business of the Company, including laws and regulation of IRDAI.
  • This role may require travel based on the business requirement.
  • Litigation and outside counsel management as and when required.
  • Any other legal support as may be required.

Requirements

Experience: 3 to 5 years of working experience (preferably in labour laws and contracts) in any MNC or NBFC.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in law
