This role is a full time role with our global manufacturing client.
Role Purpose:
To manage the design, implementation, and administration of compensation, performance management, and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation
- Manage annual salary review, increment, and promotion cycles.
- Conduct salary benchmarking exercises with external market data and support job evaluation.
- Maintain and update internal compensation structures, pay ranges, and allowance frameworks.
- Coordinate with HRBPs and finance teams for payroll inputs, compensation letters, and analytics.
- Ensure compliance with organizational compensation policies and statutory norms.
Performance Management
- Support implementation of the performance management cycle (goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews).
- Manage system configurations, timelines, and communications related to performance reviews.
- Generate analytics on performance ratings, normalization, and trends for management decisions.
- Facilitate calibration sessions and performance moderation discussions.
Employee Cost Budgeting
- Partner with Finance and HRBP for preparing annual budgeting .
- Track actual spend versus budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
- Provide cost simulations and analysis for compensation proposals or structural changes.
Benefits and R&R Administration
- Assist in managing employee benefits programs (insurance, wellness, leave policies, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors/consultants on the various support taken for R&R, Benefits, Compensation platform
- Respond to employee queries and ensure smooth benefit operations.
- Monitor benefits utilization and recommend cost optimization measures without impacting employee experience.
Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare periodic analysis on compensation and performance metrics.
- Provide insights on pay positioning, and performance trends.
- Support audits and governance requirements for total rewards processes.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems (SAP / SuccessFactors ).
- Understanding of compensation and performance management frameworks.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Eye for accuracy and data integrity.
Qualification & Experience
- Education: MBA / Postgraduate in HR or related field.
- Experience- Mid-Level (Assistant Manager / Manager): 48+ years of relevant experience in total rewards/C&B/PMS or HR operations.
