About the Role

The Collections Strategy Manager is a high-leverage role responsible for building and driving DPDzero's efficiency engine across products, lenders, and buckets.

This team owns funnel diagnostics, efficiency interventions, experimentation, cross-channel orchestration, and RoI-backed strategies that deliver breakthrough RoR, PTP-kept, digital conversions, and GP improvements.

You will work closely with Collections Analytics (for deep dives & experiments), Operations (for execution & orchestration), and Partner Success (for lender unblocking & approvals) to ensure every allocation achieves predictable, repeatable, and scalable efficiency gains.

This role does not own partner relationship management or day-to-day ops execution.

It owns strategy, intelligence, levers, and efficiency outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine data-driven efficiency strategies across buckets, products, and lenders.
• Own funnel diagnostics and convert signals into clear strategic interventions.
• Run structured experiments and evolve DPDzero's efficiency playbooks and lever library.
• Design high-level orchestration across channels to optimize efficiency and gross profits.
• Partner with Collections Analytics to validate hypotheses and measure strategic uplift.
• Collaborate with PSM to secure lender approvals and ensure frictionless execution.
• Work with Operations to drive adoption of scripts, sequencing, attempts, and routing.
• Benchmark efficiency and GP across portfolios to identify upside and set targets.
• Recommend RoI-backed budget and channel allocation decisions.
• Shape portfolio strategy through advisor allocation, treatment mix, and channel optimisation.

Qualifications & Experience

• 57 years of experience in collections strategy or risk/portfolio strategy.
• Strong understanding of collections funnels, borrower behaviour, and delinquency dynamics (unsecured preferred).
• Experience in hybrid collections (digital + tele + AI + field).
• Analytical strength: strong with Excel; ability to read dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) and work closely with Analytics.
• Understanding of collections governance (RBI, DRA guidelines, fair practices).
• Strong cross-functional leadership across Ops, PSM, Product, and Tech.
• Excellent communication, structured problem-solving, and execution discipline.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, AI-first environment.
