Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Ownership of cost, cost should be as per defined matrix for the cluster. Ensure Cost budgets are delivered.
- Responsible for the operation of the Branch and Hub , conducting operations review, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Identify / manage a team of Branches and Hubs , transport coordinators and team members of all cluster branches and Hubs.
- Ensure required number of labour made available at Branch and Hubs and sufficient SBP'S are made available for all cluster Branches.
- Ensure complete adherence to safety, tax and legal non compliances as communicated by HO
- Proposed corrective and preventive measures in case of misconduct or deviation from standard setting
- Does the daily operational communication with the client, addressing all client requirements in cooperation with their subordinates.
- Ensure highest customer satisfaction through amazing service levels
- Constantly interact with all existing customers.
- Identify suitable team members based on the required job profiles.
- Governed by the rules of work safety and is responsible for training new employees in this area
- Constantly nurture and motivate all the team members
- Identify and maintain pipeline of talent.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in leading teams in the Express Business.
- Experience of handling labour / placement of vehicles.
- Good communication skills backed by strong listening skills to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstration of strong planning skills essential
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with senior leadership.
- Strong desire to improve our service, products, and processes, with ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to impact organization results through influence across organizational boundaries.
- Strong networker, influencer, and team player.
