Role Overview:

Reporting To: Head – Operations
The Manager – Clinical Services & Strategic Healthcare Initiatives is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for healthcare services across all Primus Senior Living communities. The role focuses on developing standardized clinical governance systems, strengthening preventive healthcare, implementing quality improvement initiatives, driving digital health transformation, managing healthcare partnerships, and developing innovative healthcare services that ensure resident-centric, safe, and compliant care.
Acts as the central point of coordination between community clinical teams, hospitals, healthcare partners, wellness providers, technology vendors, and management to establish scalable healthcare systems, improve resident outcomes, and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Governance & Leadership
• Develop and implement clinical governance frameworks across all communities.
• Standardize clinical policies, protocols, SOPs, and resident care pathways.
• Establish evidence-based clinical practices and quality standards.
• Monitor clinical quality indicators and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary clinical reviews and governance meetings.
• Develop clinical risk management and escalation frameworks.
• Review clinical incidents, adverse events, and corrective actions.
• Mentor Care Managers and community clinical teams.
• Promote resident safety, ethical practices, and continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with organizational clinical standards.
2. Clinical Operations & Service Delivery
• Oversee clinical service delivery across multiple communities.
• Standardize resident assessment, care planning, and documentation processes.
• Monitor medication management systems and clinical workflows.
• Ensure emergency preparedness, ambulance readiness, and escalation protocols.
• Strengthen infection prevention and control practices.
• Monitor continuity of care and resident outcomes.
• Support community clinical teams in resolving operational challenges.
• Review clinical performance and implement service improvements.
3. Preventive Healthcare & Wellness Programs
• Develop and implement preventive healthcare strategies across communities.
• Coordinate annual health assessments, health screenings, and vaccination programs.
• Plan health camps, wellness initiatives, and resident education sessions.
• Develop chronic disease management and healthy ageing programs.
• Strengthen physiotherapy, nutrition, mental wellness, and lifestyle-based interventions.
• Monitor healthcare outcomes and evaluate program effectiveness.
4. Clinical Systems, Digital Health & EMR
• Lead implementation and optimization of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Standardize digital clinical documentation and reporting systems.
• Coordinate with software vendors to improve system functionality.
• Develop healthcare dashboards, analytics, and MIS reports.
• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive digital transformation and technology-enabled healthcare initiatives.
5. Healthcare Partnerships & Business Development
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with hospitals, laboratories, rehabilitation centres, pharmacies, ambulance providers, and specialty healthcare services.
• Lead discussions, negotiations, and execution of healthcare MOUs.
• Monitor partner performance, service quality, and SLA compliance.
• Identify opportunities to expand healthcare services across communities.
• Coordinate specialist consultations and referral services.
• Support business development initiatives related to healthcare services.
6. Clinical Service Development & Innovation
• Develop and implement new clinical and wellness services based on resident needs.
• Strengthen rehabilitation, dementia care, mental wellness, nutrition, and preventive healthcare services.
• Introduce innovative healthcare technologies and digital health solutions.
• Coordinate pilot projects and evaluate service outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement and healthcare innovation initiatives.
7. Quality, Compliance & Clinical Audits
• Develop quality assurance frameworks and clinical audit tools.
• Conduct periodic clinical audits across all communities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, infection control standards, biomedical waste management, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support accreditation initiatives and regulatory inspections.
• Review resident feedback and quality indicators to improve healthcare services.
8. Clinic Infrastructure & Resource Planning
• Plan and coordinate establishment of new clinics within communities.
• Prepare equipment, consumable, and infrastructure requirements.
• Ensure operational readiness of clinics before commencement of services.
• Monitor maintenance and utilization of medical equipment.
• Support budgeting and resource planning for clinical services.
9. Training, Capacity Building & Knowledge Management
• Develop annual training calendars for clinical teams.
• Conduct orientation, induction, and competency-based training programs.
• Organize emergency mock drills and clinical workshops.
• Develop educational materials, SOP manuals, and clinical reference documents.
• Mentor community clinical teams and promote continuous professional development.
• Support leadership development and succession planning within clinical services.
10. Reporting, Strategy & Organizational Development
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly clinical performance reports.
• Develop clinical dashboards and management MIS reports.
• Analyse healthcare trends and recommend strategic improvements.
• Support annual healthcare planning, budgeting, and expansion initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Wellness, Hospitality, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and Community teams.
• Support branding, positioning, and continuous enhancement of healthcare services across Primus Senior Living communities.
Shared Responsibilities
The Manager – Clinical Services & Strategic Healthcare Initiatives collaborates closely with Operations, Care Managers, Wellness, Hospitality, Human Resources, Facility Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and External Healthcare Partners to ensure integrated and resident-centric healthcare delivery.
• Promoting resident safety and preventive healthcare across all communities.
• Supporting resident engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and organizational projects.
• Contributing to policy development, SOP revisions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Representing the organization during healthcare partner meetings and professional collaborations.
• Supporting new service development and strategic healthcare initiatives.
• Ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all interactions.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications – Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Healthcare, Allied Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
Qualifications – Preferred: Master's degree or Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Clinical Management, Yoga Therapy, or a related healthcare field. Additional certifications in Geriatric Care, Clinical Quality, Healthcare Accreditation (NABH), Clinical Governance, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical administration, senior living, hospitals, rehabilitation, wellness, or integrated healthcare services. Experience in multi-site clinical operations, preventive healthcare, healthcare partnerships, quality management, digital health implementation, and strategic project management is preferred.
