Roles and Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects related to power generation and energy infrastructure ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Design Review and Development: Oversee the review and validation of civil design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Construction Management: Manage onsite civil works, supervise contractors, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and timely completion of construction activities, mitigating risks and resolving site issues effectively.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Implement robust quality control processes throughout project phases, conducting inspections and audits to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and materials.
- Cost and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement activities to optimize costs and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with statutory regulations, environmental policies, and Adani's health and safety protocols promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary civil engineering team, fostering continuous learning and professional growth aligned with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal departments to facilitate smooth communication and successful project outcomes.
- Technical Innovation: Identify and implement innovative construction techniques and sustainable practices to enhance project efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure contingency plans are in place to handle unforeseen challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices in civil engineering disciplines supporting Adani's vision for operational excellence and industry leadership
Certification Required
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous
- Safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent are a plus

- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable construction practices
- Competence in quality assurance/control processes and documentation
Qualifications
Education Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
Experience
10-15 years of progressive experience in civil engineering within the Power or Energy industry, demonstrating expertise in managing infrastructure projects, construction supervision, and team leadership.
