Reports to: Director, CIO Office & Transformation (NA & SAPMENA)
Role Purpose
The Manager, CIO Office & Transformation drives portfolio governance, transformation enablement, and CIO Office operations for NA & SAPMENA. The role supports decision readiness and value realization across the Zone portfolio in partnership with CTO and business teams, strengthens operational excellence and ways of working, advances AI and product/agile adoption, and elevates executive communication and community engagement.
Key Accountabilities
- Zone Portfolio Governance & Decision Readiness
- Run end-to-end Zone IT governance cadence (CPP/AR/Roadmap reviews), ensuring leadership has clear, decision-ready inputs.
- Consolidate and structure portfolio demand, priorities, dependencies, risks, and value cases into a coherent Zone portfolio narrative.
- Drive value tracking and benefits realization discipline with business and IT stakeholders.
- Portfolio Data Quality, Reporting & Single Source of Truth
- Own portfolio data quality standards and governance for the Zone PPM/ITBM ecosystem (eg.ServiceNow), ensuring accurate scope/status/financials/resourcing.
- Build/maintain executive-ready dashboards and reporting packs that enable proactive governance and fast decisions.
- Transformation Enablement (Ways of Working / Product / Agile / Change)
- Enable Zone transformation initiatives by providing frameworks, operating cadence, maturity checks, and adoption support (e.g., Product/Agile ways of working, change practices).
- Support rollout of enterprise change approaches (e.g., ADKAR-aligned practices) in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct lightweight maturity assessments, identify gaps, and drive practical improvements to sustain adoption.
- AI Adoption & Innovation Activation
- Drive AI adoption and Innovation across the region by identifying high-impact use cases that align with business priorities.
- Enable adoption by providing frameworks, tools, and knowledge-sharing to embed AI into daily workflows.
- Facilitate innovation routines (e.g., committees/showcases) to progress use cases from PoC to scaled deployment.
- Foster a test and learn culture to support adoption of AI and emerging technologies.
- CIO Narrative, Communications & Executive Engagement
- Translate strategy into clear executive messaging and what this means narratives for Zone leadership and broader IT audiences.
- Produce high-quality CIO briefing packs, updates, and communications plans; support townhalls / major IT moments and storytelling on impact.
- Operational Excellence (CIO Office Standards & Rigor)
- Strengthen core CIO Office operating discipline: templates, standards, governance hygiene, and continuous improvement of CIOO&T processes.
- Translate strategic direction into clear plans and support consistent execution through governance and follow-up.
Candidate Profile (Skills & Behaviors)
Must-have capabilities
- Strong PMO / portfolio governance leadership in a regional or multi-market environment; can run cadences and drive decisions.
- Executive communication: can synthesize complex inputs into crisp narratives and decision-ready packs.
- Resilient and self-driven: able to manage multiple priorities independently, and navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems with strong time management and ownership.
- Influence without authority across senior stakeholders; confident facilitator who can challenge constructively.
- Transformation mindset: practical experience enabling adoption (ways of working, change practices, operating model routines).
- Analytical rigor: comfort with data quality, dashboards, and financial/resource views
Nice-to-have
- Experience with AI/digital innovation programs and scaling pilots.
- Exposure to Agile/Product maturity assessments, coaching, or transformation programs.
Tools / Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office applications - Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Visio
- Knowledge of tools for data extraction & reporting such as Power BI, MS Excel preferred
- Solid grasp of project/program fundamentals; familiarity with ITIL/Agile is beneficial.
- PPM/ITBM tooling (e.g., ServiceNow), portfolio reporting and governance workflows.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree (Business/Engineering/IT or equivalent)
- 6+ years experience across PMO/portfolio/program leadership, transformation, or CIO office roles in an international environment.
