Position Summary
This role is responsible for managing and expanding our channel partner network across all operational zones, with the goal of optimizing sales efficiency, reducing Channel Partner(CP) cost of sales (COS), and implementing strategic initiatives to build a stronger, wider channel network.
Key Responsibilities
- CP Cost Optimization:
- Develop strategies to reduce CP COS through improved efficiencies and streamlined processes.
- Implement initiatives to enhance revenue contribution from channel partners while minimizing associated costs.
- Monitor and analyze cost metrics regularly to ensure alignment with company targets.
- Channel Partner Sales Expansion:
- Drive sales growth by expanding channel partner network width and ensuring the alignment of partners with Godrej's brand and objectives.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify high-potential partners across the North, South, East, West, and Mumbai zones.
- Strengthen relationships with channel partners to maximize engagement and productivity.
- Implementation of CP SOPs:
- Lead the design and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for channel partners to ensure consistency in sales processes.
- Oversee adherence to CP SOPs across all zones to drive accountability and operational uniformity.
- Identify and resolve any SOP-related challenges faced by channel partners.
- Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvements:
- Conceptualize and roll out strategic sales initiatives aimed at scaling channel partner contributions to overall revenue.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and competitors channel strategies to refine Godrej's approach continuously.
- Drive adoption of technology and automation within the CP network to support faster, more efficient operations.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish performance metrics and key indicators for channel partners and regularly track their performance.
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on CP sales performance, COS, and regional effectiveness to senior leadership.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making and transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Key Account Management:
- Establish regular communication with key accounts (Top Channel Partners) to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals.
- Ensure that the objectives and values of the key account align with our company's overall strategic goals, enabling a more cohesive and productive partnership.
- Establish clear, measurable objectives for sales growth, market penetration, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) that both parties work towards.
- continuously monitor the performance of key accounts using agreed-upon KPIs to ensure the partnership is delivering value.
- Escalation Management:
- Anticipate and address any challenges faced by key accounts proactively, preventing potential escalations before they arise.
- Resolve any conflicts or disagreements, focusing on long-term solutions that maintain a positive relationship.
Qualifications And Skills
- Education: MBA/PGDM from Premiere B-schools
- Experience in Sales/Marketing/Strategy roles, preferably within real estate or allied industries with a strong focus on channel partner management.
- Key Skills:
- Proven track record of reducing COS and driving efficiency.
- Strong understanding of channel sales strategies, SOP implementation, and strategic initiative deployment.
- Excellent Communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate across regions and manage diverse teams.
