Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical, proactive, and execution-oriented professional to work closely with the Group CFO. The role offers exposure to corporate finance, treasury, fund raising, capital markets, strategic initiatives, investments, M&A, and business planning across the Group's diverse businesses. The incumbent will act as an extension of the CFO's office, supporting strategic decision-making, financial analysis, stakeholder management, and execution of high-priority projects.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CFO on strategic, financial, and operational initiatives across the Group.
  • Develop financial models, business plans, forecasts, valuations, and scenario analyses.
  • Support fund raising activities, treasury management, capital allocation, and investment evaluation.
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities including acquisitions, private equity investments, pre-IPO opportunities, partnerships, and new business initiatives.
  • Conduct industry, market, competitor, and regulatory research to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in transaction execution, due diligence, investment memorandums, and management presentations.
  • Monitor business performance and prepare analytical reports to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with banks, investors, rating agencies, auditors, consultants, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely execution of key management action items.
  • Support governance, compliance, risk management, and internal control initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record.

Required Skills

  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Sound understanding of accounting, corporate finance, capital markets, and investments.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
