Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, designing, and implementation of C&I systems for thermal power projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
System Integration & Commissioning: Oversee the integration of instrumentation and control systems with other electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring successful commissioning and handover for project readiness.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing C&I team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, safety consciousness, and innovation in line with Adani's values.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely procurement, quality assurance, and adherence to contractual obligations related to control and instrumentation equipment.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all control and instrumentation activities comply with statutory regulations, safety standards, and Adani's internal policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert guidance in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems during construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring protocols for instrumentation and control systems to optimize operational efficiency and reliability, driving proactive maintenance strategies.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation, progress reports, and compliance records to maintain transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer within the organization.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion the adoption of new technologies, automation solutions, and best practices in C&I to improve project outcomes and operational excellence.
Cost Management: Monitor and control costs associated with instrumentation and control activities, aiming for cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration across all project disciplines.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to instrumentation and control systems and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on project delivery and operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
Postgraduate qualification or specialized training in Control Systems or Instrumentation will be advantageous.
10+ years of progressive experience in Control & Instrumentation within the thermal power project industry, including hands-on project execution, commissioning, and operational support.
