Job Title: Manager - Business Development, Industry Partnerships & Career Services

Reporting to: Head, Industry Partnerships & Career Services

Work Location: BITSoM, Kalyan, Mumbai Metropolitan Region

Job Responsibilities*

1. Develop and implement a strategic plan in close collaboration with the Head of Industry Partnership and Career Services
2. Develop professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni and industry professionals
3. Provide direction, programming, and goals that strategically integrate all aspects of job placement, career development, career exploration, internships, and career planning
4. Work in collaboration with Programs office, faculty to ensure career activities are aligned
5. Manage the designated territory of as a Regional Manager.
6. Conduct targeted employer outreach for MBA program in designated territory.
7. Develop and maintain employer relations and serve as a contact for industry partners and prospective employers
8. Maintain employer database for internships and full- and part-time positions
9. Engage with industry for sourcing Corporate Live Projects for students
10. Plan and implement events to facilitate student interactions with employers and industry professionals
11. Provide on-ground inputs in your designated territory to the Management, to improve the overall Industry – Academia engagements

Preferred Skils & Qualifications

1. Postgraduate degree from a premium institution
2. Proven work experience of 8-11 years or more in a similar capacity in providing career services / career counseling support in a higher education sector.
3. Proficient in handling and managing communication effectively with different stakeholders in an international work environment
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with good command in spoken and written English language
5. Possess a growth mindset and have the ability to be adaptable and resilient
6. Resourceful and Collaborative
7. Excellent time-management
8. Knowledge of the local market/ language will be a plus
