Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our partnerships with builders, developers, construction firms, and co-working spaces. You will own the full BD cyclefrom identifying and qualifying opportunities to closing high-impact deals and driving on-ground implementation of Kazam's charging solutions in residential and commercial properties across India. This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands the real estate ecosystem and can combine consultative selling with hustle to unlock a massive, emerging category.
What You'll Own
1. Pipeline Building & Revenue Ownership
Drive end-to-end business development for the Real Estate verticalfrom ICP identification and pipeline building to account management and deal sign-off.
Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities with residential and commercial real estate builders, developers, and property managers.
Own and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Build a scalable pipeline by mapping key accounts, real estate clusters, and upcoming projects across target geographies.
2. Strategic Partnerships
Build and nurture long-term relationships with top builders, developers, construction companies, co-working operators, and property management firms.
Present Kazam's EV charging solutions, pricing models, and value proposition to senior decision-makers and CXOs.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling collateral and pitch decks tailored to the real estate audience.
3. Consultative Selling & Solutioning
Deeply understand customer requirementssite layout, power availability, user profilesand propose the right charging configuration.
Deliver ROI analyses, business proposals, and feasibility assessments to help clients make confident investment decisions.
Navigate technical and commercial discussions, aligning on scope, pricing, timelines, and implementation milestones.
4. Deal Closure & Execution
Convert qualified leads into signed contracts through a structured BD cycle.
Ensure all documentationPOs, agreements, payment termsis aligned and processed on time.
Coordinate with operations and installation teams to deliver successful site deployments and maintain client satisfaction post-install.
5. Market Intelligence & GTM Input
Track trends in real estate EV-readiness, competitor activity, government EV policies, and green-building mandates.
Feed actionable insights to leadership for strategic planning, GTM refinement, and new segment prioritisation.
What You Bring
35 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development, preferably with exposure to real estate, proptech, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong working knowledge of the real estate ecosystembuilders, developers, facility managers, and property management workflows.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
Experience selling to CXOs, VPs, Directors, and Facility Heads; comfortable in boardroom conversations.
Strong negotiation, deal-structuring, and closing abilities.
Ownership mindsetyou thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and hold yourself accountable for outcomes.
Cross-functional agility: ability to work closely with product, operations, marketing, and leadership teams.
Bonus: Experience or knowledge of EV charging, energy management, sustainability solutions, or government compliance frameworks.
