Role Overview
The Manager / Senior Manager Business Development will spearhead growth for Srishti Resins across India and global markets. The role demands a strong B2B sales background in the specialty chemical or water-based urethane ecosystem, with the ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders and build long-term strategic partnerships.
This is a high-impact role requiring a top-down selling approach, strong techno-commercial understanding, and the ability to position Srishti Resins solutions as a superior value-add to customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Market Development
- Develop and execute strategic business development and sales plans for water-based urethane products across India and international regions.
- Identify new markets, emerging segments, and high-potential customers to accelerate growth.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with clear conversion strategies.
2. Strategic Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, Founders, Directors, and functional leaders across customer organizations.
- Promote technology-driven solutions and communicate product value in alignment with customer objectives.
- Position Srishti Resins as a trusted technical and commercial partner.
3. Segment Focus & Application Development
Drive business development across priority applications including:
- Architectural paints
- Wood coatings
- BOPP/PET film & paper coatings
- Leather coatings
- Industrial & specialty chemical applications
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver product trials, demonstrations, formulations, and application support.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Prepare detailed market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and business forecasts.
- Monitor regulatory and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Present periodic performance updates to management.
5. Customer Satisfaction & Retention
- Ensure exceptional customer experience through proactive communication and service.
- Resolve customer challenges with a solution-oriented approach.
- Strengthen long-term partnerships enabling repeat and sustainable business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymers, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- 710+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in polymers, coatings, adhesives, or water-based systems.
- Strong knowledge of specialty chemical markets and application technologies.
- Proven experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders and closing high-value B2B deals.
- Exposure to both Indian and international markets is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
